  • Grading and drainage: This involves shaping the ground surface to ensure proper drainage and prevent erosion.

  • Earthwork Calculations: This involves excavating, moving, and compacting soil.

  • Utility plans: This involves water, sewer, gas, and electrical lines.

  • Stormwater management: This involves designing and constructing systems to collect, store, and discharge stormwater.

  • Hydrology Reports/Water Study

  • LID (low impact development) plans

  • Erosion Control plans

  • WQMP/Stormwater

  • Cut and Fill Quantities

  • Sewer availability study

Off-Site Civil Engineering:

  • "A permit" (driveway) is to allow minor street construction. in the public right-of-way.

  • "B permit (street improvement, street widening etc.) is issued for extensive public works improvements including the widening of streets and alleys, the changing of existing street grade, construction of bridges, retaining walls, and the installation of sewer, storm drains, street lighting, and traffic signals.

  • road design (streets/ highway/ on & off ramps on freeway etc.)

  • Sewer availability study (usually for new development) is a report used to analyze the capacity of existing sewer systems for the additional sewage discharge generated by the proposed development.

  • sewage pump design

  • stormwater pump design is an intermediate collection tank for stormwater with a submersible pump at the bottom. Instead of relying on gravity to cause the water to flow to the discharge point, the pump provides the additional pressure needed to overcome the difference in head pressure.
